Dr. Francis is an out of network provider. The following policies are in place to assist with payment.

  • At the time of intake you will be provided with a good faith estimate for the cost of services. If the assessment needs to be altered in a way that impacts total cost, changes will not be made without consent.

  • You will be provided with a superbill including the CPT codes used at the end of the assessment. These may be submitted to your health insurance company for reimbursement. It is recommended you contact your insurance provider to determine Out-Of-Network benefits prior to starting the assessment. Many insurance companies will reimburse for some of treatment after deductibles are met, although this varies by plan.

  • Cost of service is broken down into three payment dates (see child assessments/adult assessments page for fees):

    • $200 due on date of intake

    • 50% of assessment due on day of testing

    • 50% of assessment due on day of feedback

  • Cancellation Policy: We ask for 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please call/text (401-315-4468) or email the office (afrancis@eastsidepsychri.com) to cancel or reschedule. Late cancel/no show fees are as follows:

    • Late cancel/no show for intake/feedback/60-minute session $100

    • Late cancel/no show for testing appointment $300

FAQs

Why are you an out of network provider?

Being an out-of-network provider allows for more flexibility in the assessments we choose and the time it takes to complete the assessment. Being out-of-network allows a more thorough review of symptoms and overall concerns.

Why is there a late cancel fee?

A late cancel fee has been implemented to reduce the number of cancellations within 48-hours. This allows greater access for patients waiting to be seen. We understand emergencies happen, and are happy to work with you should one arise.

Should I Bring anything to testing?

Feel free to bring anything that will make you feel more comfortable during the appointment. A drink is typically recommended (along with a snack for children).

what form of payment do you accept?

Credit card, cash, and health savings accounts (HSAs) can be used to cover services, at this time.
